The Lord taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come; Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth.” (Matthew 6:10). This is because God’s enemy, Satan, has corrupted man and damaged the earth. But God wants to recover mankind and the earth for His house, His dwelling place, which is the church (Isaiah 66:1-2; Ephesians 2:22).

It is with this in view that we chose these hymns and spiritual songs on the church, God’s building, and on our participation in and exercise for the building up of the Body of Christ as God’s corporate expression. We love the church life!

“ . . . I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of the heavens, and whatever you bind on the earth shall have been bound in the heavens, and whatever you loose on the earth shall have been loosed in the heavens.” (Matthew 16:18b-19)

Our prayer is that the Lord will burden all the young people to pursue Christ for the building up of the church and supply every one of us to preach the gospel —

“And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14)
