We at New York City Young People’s CD (NYCYPCD) are young people pursuing the Lord together and spreading His word through psalms, hymns and spiritual songs.

NYCYPCD began in 2004 when we, the young people in The Church in New York City, expressed our burden to record hymns and young people songs to encourage other young Christians to pursue the Lord.

Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom,
teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God –

We wanted to minister the riches of Christ to others through the riches in the lyrics of the hymns. We also had a burden for the gospel and felt that a CD of spiritual songs would be a good a vehicle to preach the gospel of the Kingdom to others. 

In 2005 we finished our first album – Splendid Church Life! The response was very good and we had the burden to record another CD with a focus on consecration and I Am the Lord’s was released in 2006. We have released an album each year since then and many other young people have entered into this service. 

We are thankful to the Lord for supplying us all these years in this service and we look to the Lord to continue to use these CDs to supply and encourage others.
