I Am Coming Lord

English // 2017

"All hail, redeeming blood!
All hail, life-giving grace!
All hail, the gift of Christ our Lord,
Our strength and righteousness."
Hymn 1051 - Stanza 5

This collection of psalms, hymns and spiritual songs are a response to Paul’s pursuit in Philippians 3.

And be found in Him, not having my own righteousness which is out of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is out of God and based on faith, To know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, If perhaps I may attain to the out-resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained or am already perfected, but I pursue, if even I may lay hold of that for which I also have been laid hold of by Christ Jesus.
— Philippians 3:9-12

At the close of this age, the Lord needs consecrated ones, those who give themselves to love Him, pursue Him and are willing to count all things loss for Him in order to gain Him and be conformed to Him. He needs some young people who are not centered on themselves, but centered on Christ, who are governed by a heavenly vision concerning the function of God’s chosen people on earth today – a vision that controls and directs us, restricts and perfects us to minister Christ and close this age. This is the experience of reigning in life and this is our goal.

For if, by the offense of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
— Romans 5:17

For this we need to be coming to Him day by day, needing Him hour by hour. In this way we can abide in His love and drink of the water of life freely. May the Lord touch our hearts to pursue Him, know Him and lay hold of Him.
